A Gold Medal Performance

Post by jimg20 »

Here in small town America, not much happens. One of the things we do best is develop good kids into great adults. The big rivalry basketball game was played last night between our Farmington Cardinals and the neighboring Prairie Grove Tigers. It was Senior Night and there were playoff implications. Watch what happened spontainiously at the end of the game.

First read the blog entry below.

That was AWESOME!!! I love these types of stories. What the Cardinals did for this kid was incredible too. I have been hearing some great stories of High School kids being a lot more accepting of all types of people then it was when I was in High School. Here is one from Mass that warmed my heart.

Thanks Toni and Joppa. I know this isn't the first time something like this has happened. I've seen several on the news. It's still uplifting to see it again.

Here is the news report from one of the local TV stations.
