St. Louis MO a “Dangerous City”?
Saw this article re “10 Surprisingly Dangerous Cities”.
Was not surprised at some i.e. Mexico City, Rio, Bogota, Caracas, and I had even read about Naples prior to traveling to Italy – but Marseilles, Glasgow, and our own St. Louis?

I fear for my well being every waking moment here.

Re: St. Louis MO a “Dangerous City”?
St. Louis is the only city I've visited where a police officer told me that if I was downtown at night and the light turned red, I should check for oncoming traffic and then keep going. A group of 10 friends, fellow convention-goers, were robbed at gun point walking near the convention hotel. They took the diaper bags for the babies and everything.
Re: St. Louis MO a “Dangerous City”?
I would have never guessed that. We were there just a couple of years ago for a convention. We went to Budweiser, the arch, walked from the bars to our room at night and didn't see anything to give us reason to fear for our safety. We were told that there were unsafe areas. Has it gotten worse? Is it gang related?
How unfortunate. It is such a beautiful city.
