here's something good for the holidays!

Champagne Punch
1 Can (46 oz) Pineapple Juice
1 Bottle (28 oz) club soda
1 Can (6 oz) frozen OJ concentrate, thawed
1 lemon or lime, sliced
2 cups frozen strawberries with juice
1 bottle Champagne

Combine all ingredients in a punch bowl. Makes 3 Quarts.

Does anyone have a recipe for a candy cane martini that doesn't have a bizzilion ingredients?
One of my relatives is requesting that I make these for Christmas, but she cannot provide a recipe.

I've searched on the internet and haven't found a good one yet.

I've been looking for oyou also. I know that World Market sells "Stirrings" brand martini mix. They have a peppermint one. You can also get the crushed peppermint in a tin to put on the rim. This may be the easiest and cheapest way to do it, since I'm sure they will probably only drink one. With the strong peppermint taste, I can't imagine having several of them. I will keep looking for a recipe to make a homemade one. My kitchen store here it if you need me to send you some. Do you have a World Market in your area?

1 shot vanilla rum
1 shot white chocolate liqueur (recommended: Godiva)
1 shot peppermint schnapps
Candy cane, garnish

Add all liquid ingredients to cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into martini glass. Garnish with candy cane.
I found this one and it looks pretty simple. I might do the vanilla vodka instead of rum and you could leave out the Godiva is you want it clear. You could crush up the peppermints and rim the glass with that.

Thanks Wonton. I'll have to try that one.

I experimented last night and tried a few recipes.
This one had creme de Cacao, creme de menthe, peppermint schnaaps and vanilla vodka.
It looked pretty, but kind of tasted like mouthwash.
Then I tried one without the schnapps, more creme de cacao and added a little cream. It was good and tasted like a grasshopper, but I am not sure that is the drink I was looking for. I'll try yours next.

I hope you keep your experimenting very scientific

Here's another one to try

Candy Cane martini

• 1 1/2 oz. vodka
• 1 tsp. peppermint schnapps

Mixing instructions:
Mix all ingredients with ice in a shaker. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Option: Garnish with a small candy cane or create a candy cane "rimmer" with crushed candy canes.

I am going to add Flip-Flop's holiday rum punch here:

1 bottle Cruzan Black Cherry
1 bottle champagne
1 small bottle pomegranite juice

AWESOME.

I call it "Flip-Flop's You'll-Hate-Me-In-The-Morning-Punch."

Seriously, though, it's quite good.

LOL ... Tasty but lethal. Just like me. Just tip drinkers off that its 9 parts alcohol 1 part juice first! That is unless you don't like them, then let them drink up!

I had mint-tinis at my Mother-in-laws yesterday. This is how she made them.

For 2 drinks:

2 oz Absolut vodka
2 oz creme de menthe
1 oz cream

They were good!
