Banana Cabana

To make two banana cabanas, put 1/2 cup Coco Lopez into a blender. Add 1/2 cup Baileys Irish Cream, 2 ripe bananas, 2 cups ice cubes, and if you like, 2 oz. white rum. (it’s also great without the rum). Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.

I'm thinking of adding a dash of chocolate syrup in the next batch!
isn't that the BBC? with the rum of course!

I don't know... I never had a BBC. (or a Bushwacker, either)

from Beach Bar web site, the BBC - my favorite!

BBC
Similar in Texture and Richness to a Bushwacker. This Lesser Known, Easier Prepared, Concoction Can't be Beat When the Banana is Really Ripe. Just Like in Baking, an Overripe Banana is Going to Be Delicious Here!
(for one drink)

•1.5 oz Bailey's
•1 oz Light Rum
•1.5 oz Coco Lopez
•1/2 of a Fresh Very Ripe Banana
Put all ingredients in a blender. Blend till Smooth.
We garnish with a cherry, but you may think of something more creative...

California Girl,
Those are the best glasses! I am going in search of those. What store did you get them at?

Very cool...but monkeys and umbrellas on pirate glasses? Two black straws instead.

AH - I got them at Ralph's. Do you have Ralph's? If not, I'd be happy to get some for you and send them! :)

Chet, you are right! Parasols & monkeys are pretty "girly" for pirate glasses! I have some sword cocktail pix, but I didn't have anything to stick 'em in!

Note to self: Black straws! Arrrr!

Isn't Ralph's also Kroger's back East. Maybe they are in Kroger's since I'm seeing some labeling from Kroger's out here.

Noticed those coasters. Is that an advertisement for water boarding?

I'm thinking utility (manhole) covers. I have some old cocktail napkins ('70s) from SF with a similar image.

LOL Allan!! I can see how you'd think that!!
But you nailed it Chet! New Orleans manhole covers, to be exact! I've almost used them all up! (are you listening Elizabeth??)

Bumping this thread because thanks to the cider thread I went ahead and tried the cider cocktail I mentioned the other day. It was really easy. For each drink, put in two tablespoons of cognac, top off with hard cider and then add a couple dashes of bitters.
