Sonesta beach resort or sugar bay?

Post by icanrace »

My wife and I are considering one of these all inclusive options. Does anyone have any opinions on either of these. They seem to get mixed reviews and was just curious. Thanks in advance for any feedback!

I am not familiar with any Sonesta property in STT - do you have any more info?
All Inclusive is not a particularly popular plan in STT mostly because the island is so small, offers a widely diverse set of dining options and very few visitors decide to just stay on property, they usually have a rental car, visit STJ and even the BVI on daytrips using a ferry or other vessel and almost always visit a few other beaches in STT as well, often including some sightseeing at some of our other attractions and shopping downtown and Havensight.
Maybe some other posters will have some insight on the Sugar Bay///Sonesta comparison.

comparing STT and St Martin is a totally different topic - the TTOL forum on St. Martin is a very active one .
