Planning a week visit beginning 11/23 to St Thomas. Looking for more details on the shopping. Hoping to score some Coach handbags. What can I expect for pricing compared to the states? How do prices compare when duty free to US retail price?

You save on tax

Most foreign items here are cheaper as we pay no import duties. Liquor and cigarettes as well besides the jewelry, cameras and other designer items.

Same scams on fake Coach, Gucci etc as anywhere else...shop at Yacht Haven for real merchandise, all you save is tax though. Don't be fooled by Vendors Mart or anywhere like that.
