Thank You so much for creating such video splendor of my home island of St Thomas -- you presented such a captivating scenario of places and things that I see every day but seen through your lens felt a renewed appreciation.
To credit the 2 paintings in the video:
Frenchtown Graffiti is by David Francke - done as a gift to the Frenchtown fisherman on the Fish House walls - sadly he recently passed away.
Blue Orchid Restaurant - the Orchid in Bloom is by Susan Baker a long time resident and artist

The 'Fort Ruins' in Frenchtown are actually the buttressed walls of a cistern that collected the water shed from the hill behind it, that was constructed as the main water supply for that community long ago.
The Botanical Garden at the St Peter Great House is truly an undiscovered treasure and one of my favorite retreats and the view from the roof deck there has the most spectacular vista of the islands to our East.

Thank You for appreciating the beauty of St Thomas and come back often.

I appreciate your kind words, and information on the sights I photographed.

Great video! I see you went to a few restaurants that we are considering for my sister in-laws anniversary dinner. If you had to choose just one which would you pick? Or, what is your favorite thing about each one?

To tell you the truth..The one we thought was the best was the least expensive and the most laid back..The grill at Mohogany Run. The greeter there was a hoot..and the waiter was so nice and helpful. We went there twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner..both meals were great!

But for a special dinner I think I would pick the Blue Orchid.. I loved the view, and everyone was very nice.. the service was good but we were only three tables full in the whole place... Its such a beautiful place, and the gardens are so relaxing...If you go here make sure you go early so you can walk the grounds first...and don't forget to catch that awesome sunset.. It was the best I've ever seen (electric) and we almost missed it as we were at the bar...I just happened to notice it getting pink outside the window..went to check it out and ended up watching it get better and better for the next 15 mins or so...Unbelievable.

I really loved the "Old Stone farmhouse" Building, but the cost of the whole meal was outrageous.
As soon as they wanted me to order water off the menu I knew we were in for a high bill.. He did finally bring me tap water, after I said Id have nothing... The food was well prepared, and everything was good...I just couldn't get passed the bill in the end.
There are so many great places...that we did not get to...so I still have a reason to visit again!

I hope your dinner is a successful no matter where you go.
