OK, I'm a complete newbie to the VIs, but not to the Caribbean. We are interested in renting a 17ft inflatable dinghy in hopes of going to some little deserted islands with pretty beaches. Is this possible in this small of a boat and if so, which islands? Sorry, if this is a dumb question, but I have no knowledge of this area. Thanks

17ft is pretty big - if the water is calm enough you can pretty much go anywhere. The Indians is an awesome snorkel spot but not a beach. But any of the islands in the chain, like Norman or Peter would probably be doable for you - sort of depends on what part of Tortola you will be on -
