JVD newbie!

Post by NCSue »

Been here many times on day trips - but we are trying our hand at staying on island for a couple days next year!

Question - we want to depart JVD on July 4th (early ferry) - and head to STT to stay for the night - flying home on the 5th. Will the ferries be running on regular service on the 4th? We typically do STJ for the fourth - so we know it can be CRAZY! :P

We also have been trying to decide where stay in Jost in April . After being there on 2 day trips we decided 3-4 days was needed to have more time to explore & not have to hurry back to the boat . Where did you decide to stay ? I just can't make up my mind either by the Soggy Dollar or Foxy's :D !

We secured an ac cabin at Sandcastle. Winsome has been awesome getting us booked! I can't wait to wake up on that beach every day!

We stayed at Sandy Ground Estates for our first Jost Van Dyke trip. It was so weird to drive to Soggy. BUT SO MUCH FUN! 8)
