Mine is pretty much the same as everyone else. For a jug, mix one 46 oz can pineapple, 12 oz coco lopez, 12 oz orange juice, 750 ml Cruzan dark. Set the can of coco lopez in hot water to liquify. Shake. Pour over ice top with fresh netmeg. Variation: substitute cruzan with Bacardi Limon for Soggy Dollar sunshine, or Cruzan vanilla for Soggy Dollar Vanilla Killa.
Enjoy!
BTW- I'll be at Soggy Dollar tomorrow if anyone wants me to taste test a new recipe! :-)

Duh - melt the Coco Lopez.....

Told you it was a dumb question -- but that's OKAY - now we'll have delicious Painkillers on our trip!

Thanks!

If you can't get the cream of coconut to dissolve properly, just substitute an equal quantity of coconut rum, it's a great variation.

Treat the fresh grated nutmeg as an ingredient rather than a garnish.

Thats how we make them cause I'm lazy. They pack more painkilling punch per glass that way :D I cheat a little more and add a dash of vodka sometimes because I hate to have to wait too long for my pain to subside.

I know that Soggy Dollar Bar on JVD is the official originator of the Painkiller, but the bar at Magens Bay has the absolute BEST and STRONGEST ones we've had yet!

I normally drive (so I don't drink much on the beach), but I usually get my wife one to-go when we're done at the beach - makes my driving on the left a little more tolerable for her!

See you all next Saturday!
