If not Mar de Amores....

Post by nohbdy »

Starting a new thread that is inspired by my "Honeymoon Villa" thread.

Before making a final decision on Mar de Amores, I would be curious to see if anyone has some ideas for summer honeymoon villas. Here are two others that I am looking at to start the list (anyone stayed at one?)

A Son Tour - Relatively new, secluded, with an open air living room

Coco Beach - Brand new, but not much more info

I'm not sure what you are looking for, but we are staying at Sea Spirit for our honeymoon. Not sure if you want to be this secluded though. We rented through the owner, not through this agency.

Cool, I've had my eye on Sea Spirit. How did it work out for you?

RickG,
Haven't stayed there yet - another 78 days till I see it in person! Dealing with the owner has been great, she's helpful and quick to respond to e-mails. I'll post a report when I get back.

I had been looking at Sea Spirit as well, but it is booked for the week I'm going to be in St. John. When is your honeymoon canuk? You didn't steal my dates did you? :P

I can't believe you...!
Just kidding... we are going the third week in June, so you aren't the person I need to yell at. I guess we could have shared... but that would have been awkward! :)

I stayed at Bongo Bongo for my honeymoon and loved it. I have a review posted to the villa section if you want to check it out. Any questions you can PM if you'd like.

I was looking at Mar De Amores also.

My second choice, Villa Capiz is rented by Mary Beth the week we're going. :x (just kidding MB) Seriously tho' I am considering VC for the second week of our stay. It looks to be available the first week of December. DH would like one place for both weeks, but I prefer to try someplace new, and guess who makes all the arrangements?!

Anyone have any feedback on MDA???

I was looking at Villa Capiz for our visit, but it was booked so we got Cielo Vista instead - will that one meet your needs?

I had suggested Cinnamon Tarn through Vacation Vistas( Lisa Durgin) and also Viewtiful through Private Homes. Our daughter fell in love with it 2 years ago when she went for a week with her fiancee. Anyone else have experience with Viewtiful?
