My 6 year old uses dapper all the time...where she got it I have NO idea. Maybe she's an old soul.
She probably heard it from her grandmother, who is about my age.

So many of the people on this forum seem obsessed with poop.

I’m telling Melanie.

Pete (Mr. Marcia) wrote:time out...there are men who get pedicures? Whoa. Kinda freaks me out.

Makes me question so much. Is there something wrong with me that I never thought of such a thing. Or, is there something wrong with them that they did such a thing.

I don't know the answer.

Bayer, help me out here...do we do this? Jorge, do you? Am I missing my metrosexual self?
I’m with you on this one Pete. It’s an affront to my midwestern sensibilities. The closest any of my male relatives has ever gotten to a manicure was when my Grandpa lost his finger in an auger and had it surgically reattached.

A former coworker of mine gets manicures and pedicures with his wife. He gets clear polish. He also goes tanning a couple times a week, even in the winter, and shaves his arms and chest.
Let us live so that when we come to die even the undertaker will be sorry.

Okay...hubby just returned today from his 1st pedicure. He didn't tell me.

I am amazed. His feet are very smooth and sexy looking.

Now, mind you he's a construction, no frills dude.

But, we're headed to a beach on Sunday and hey, I buy new clothes, and he gets a pedi. We're even. :D

Pedicure? I like to carve shapes in my horn-like heel callouses so I know which footprints on the beach are mine.

And Teresa Rae, that was bloody funny!

Hey, not sure what midwest mentality has to do with this as I was born and raised in MI and moved out west 35 years ago.

But if you're following the female version of this post you'll now see that they have moved from pedis to eyelash things. Must read to believe.

Fessing up....

I could pack for 3 weeks in China in 30 minutes or less. I figure a week on St. John, about 5 minutes tops. Duffel bag with room to bring back new tank tops, Tshirts, couple bottles of Rum, etc and I'm good to go.
Required packing: 2 swim trunks (one drying while the other is being worn), 2 tank tops (one drying while the other is being worn), sandals, water shoes, snorkel gear, toothbrush/paste, razor (gotta skin the fuzz off the noggin every couple days), daily wear contacts. Done.
for 2 weeks, add 1 tank top in case one wears out.

Deodorant, Deodorant...We don't need no stinking deodorant....

(ok)...well maybe we do occasionally need it.....

Between snorkeling, drinking and spending time in the pool, I guess I forgot that little item in my packing list...
hum....wonder what else I might need......

Mine would wear swimtrunks the entire time. He simply does not care. I on the other hand pack him t-shirts and some shorts at least! Oh my hubby....
