Truly a special evening that will leave you with fond memories of Creque Dam Farm. You are invited to put together your best cooking team to be part of preparing this special evening's meals. Bring family, friends and even co-workers! Join a team or make your own! We'll have 2-3 guest chef judges to award teams with the tastiest dishes. Prizes and awards will go to the most creative, prettiest, funniest, craziest, juiciest, hottest, and more. Arrive at 4pm for a $2 per person tour of the farm. At 5:00p meet under the Rain Tree to be assigned your team's table. Cooking and eating begins at 5:30p.
SO HOW WILL THE COOKING WORK?
Each team will be given secret farm ingredients (unless you've already seen our garden), table, outdoor lighting, bucket of water, and a good time to make your delicious creations. Make sure to bring your own cooking utensils, pots, pans, cutlery, seating, and grill. The location is a big open field with plenty of outdoor space for cooking, eating and dancing.
While meals are being prepared, there will be live music, drinks, storytelling, and primitive skills demonstrations, fun for all ages and skill levels.
$20pp donation for attendees to contribute towards event's expenses. $10pp if you bring a dish or ingredients.
To buy local organic farm produce, www.vi.locallygrown.net has an online market that opens every sunday with drop offs every wednesdays at Polly's in Frederiksted. This online market allows you to shop through local produce from several St Croix farms including Creque Dam Farm, the host of the event.
To RSVP, email faislafete.vi@gmail.com your party's name and # of guests. By the end of next week, you will also be able to rsvp online through www.vi.locallygrown.net, by creating an account and making reservations electronically. Include your party's name and # of people.
BUSH CHEF is one of the top weekend celebrations happening this summer in St Croix. June 26 is not only a full moon, but is also 3 days after the summer solstace, and 1 day before Mango Melee.

Overnight farm stay packages available for guests coming from St Thomas for BUSH CHEF June 26th and Mango Melee June 27th. Arrive on Saturday via VI Sea Trans ferry. Depart STT @ 7:45a, arrive Gallows Bay STX 10:00a. Renting a vehicle is recommended for those who plan to attend Mango Melee on sunday. Check into one of our Farm's eco-cabanas with screened doors, porch, and wi-fi. Ferry departs Sunday back to St Thomas at 3:45p or monday at 4:30p.
