Earthquake Tremors

Post by JT »

I was catching up on this morning's forum a little while ago and all of a sudden our house was shaking and the glasses were rattling! Now being from the East Coast this was new to me. I just checked all news WTOP's websight and it seems it was 3.6 on the Richter Scale and was felt over a pretty wide area. It lasted about 3-4 seconds and I thought that there had been an explosion. I open my front door and it was quiet as a church mouse out there. Very weird start to Friday!
When you find yourself in a hole.... quit digging.

Yep, we felt it in McLean. It woke Christine and I up. I thought it was a big truck, but she called it an earthquake!

I'm off to check the brewery.

Cheers, Rick

Was at my desk at 5:05AM here in Dupont Circle (Washington, DC) when I felt and heard the rumbling. Lasted about 10 seconds. No damage. Wife slept through it.
