Family Friendly Villa w/Interior Access

Post by lbrlwyr »

After many years of getting St. John to ourselves, my wife and I have decided to finally take our kids (6 1/2 year old twins) to St. John for their first visit in June/July 2011. Our first order of business is to find a villa -- in particular one that has "interior access" bedrooms for both conveninece and safety (don't want my 6 year olds wandering outside if they need us in the middle of the night). We plan on going with another couple who also has a set of 6 year old twins (must be something in the water in Northern Va) so ideally our wish list is:

4 bedroom house (interior access bedrooms -- or at least 2 sets of connecting bedrooms on each floor)
Pool
South Shore
Under $5000 week (off-season).

Can anyone recommend a nice villa that may fit the bill?

Thanks in advance!

I second iowaguy on Leeward. We've stayed there several times and with 2 bedrooms up and 2 bedrooms down, all in a seperate lockable building,it would be perfect for your group.

Thanks. Has anyone stayed in Ristaba or Villa Andrea? Those look like some other possibilities.

Crystal Seaview
Ristaba
Leeward St. John
Villa Villekula
Croix Vista
Villa Andrea
Island Manor
Soul Island
Luna Vista
Le Lapin

I think there have been few threads on this subject, so there may be a lot more recommendations out there.

I agree that Leeward and Ristaba are both great choices with interior access, very nicely appointed and great views. You wouldn't go wrong with either one of them.

We stayed at Ristaba a couple years ago. All four bedroom doors are accessed from the same hall. Great villa!
