Access to "Pelican Rock beach" - East End
Does anyone know where the best access is to the beach way out the East End, so you can snorkel around Pelican Rock? Seems to me that the last few times we were out there, the house right there has a very prominent "No Trespassing" sign... and we don't want to annoy the folks who live there.
Any advice?
(Besides just going to Miss Vie's for some food and then using her lovely beach for the rest of the afternoon? Believe me, its been done, and it is lovely!!)
Thanks! Counting days,
WL

My understanding is you can take the road to dead end. Park and walk in staying between the fence and the other fence the owner just put up. We did this 3 times in Jan. We took our chairs and put up camp to the far right. No one ever said anything to us. The owner of the house was there and never bothered us. It is quite and an easy entry to snorkel pelican rock. The first time we went there was just one fence up on left side the last week we returned the house owner had put up another fence but there is still plenty of room to walk between them.
Pelican
There is a spot near the end of Vie's property to swim right out to PR. You'll see a tree surrounded by a rock and cement planter and a couple of old rowboats there. Sometimes a dingie too. It's an easy sand entry and a 10 minute or less swim to the rock. It's interesting on the way out too.
As you stand at this point and look out into the water PR will be to your left just a bit.
As someone pointed out, all the fences leading to PR are now posted.
