Prayers please!

Post by byado18 »

It seems odd to be reaching out to this group, BUT my 31 yo son had a mild stroke today. He is in NYC and I am visiting one of my daughters in Ca to spend Seder with her family. My other daughter arrives tomororw from Singapore. His dad who is a MD will fly there in the morning (we are divored) and supervise his care.

Prognosis is good and his darling fiancee is at his side!
Please send prayers his way. Thanks!

So sorry to hear about your son. I have a 33 yr. old son myself so I can imagine how helpless you feel being so far from him. But you can be sure that there will be alot of good thoughts and prayers heading his way from all the wonderful people on this forum.
Friends, they go away then they re-appear...I believe there is Magic here.

I'm so sorry to hear about your son. That is very scary! I know first hand that prayers from the forum work. Praying his doctors can figure out what is wrong.

:( I'll be keeping you and your son and your family in my thoughts!

Here's a bit of positive inspiration: My mom had a pretty serious stroke at 30 (I remember using flash cards to help her regain her speech). She recovered beautifully and is an amazing, active, vibrant woman who you'd never guess in a million years had had a stroke! The brain is a marvelous and resilient organ.
