What's your favorite Gifft Hill Villa?

Post by lazylane »

thinking of planning for December and staying in the Gifft Hill area which will be like going to another country as we are Coral Bay people, but wanted to switch it up a little this year. Gifft Hill would be convenient and not really "in town" !! LOVE the look of the new updated Coconuts, but it's not available in early December. Any reviews out there for 2-3 bedroom with pool and a/c in bedrooms?? Thanks! Let the planning begin....!!!! :D

We just came home from Villa Capiz and was very happy with it. We only used the 2 downstairs bedrooms and they were perfect for us. There is another bedroom upstairs off the kitchen but we didn't use it. It is a much smaller bedroom but not too bad. The view from this villa is amazing!!

We have also stayed at Villa Tesori and liked it very much. But it is a much larger and more expensive villa.

thanks everyone! Now we are rethinking Gifft Hill, most have no covered deck. AND we just can't give up those Coral Bay views and watching the sleepy little harbor come alive each day! We shall remain Coral Bay people!!! :D

ll,

we like sunsets and panoramic views and thus loved cloud 9 on gift hill and villas on upper rockridge, maria bluff and contant (12 trips); BUT you definitely need shade via veranda, gazebo or siting. however 2 of last 3 trips we stayed on mt bordeaux and loved the views to east over coral bay and easy access to coral bay and east end north shore beaches.

while at summerwind this past april we looked at a couple of options for future in coral bay area. one that was outstanding was memory daze handled by windspree. truly outstanding in all regards, views, layout, convenient easy access location (maybe 2 minutes max to island blues)and well equipped. owner was in residence and gave us full scale tour. except for step up/down here/there all 1 level, views from all quarters, high enough to catch great breezes coming from the e/se but low enough to avoid humidity of higher reaches of mt b. exceptional.
if you haven't booked, you should take a look.

We loved Coral Bay and keep looking for Villa's with the amazing view that Coral Bay area provides. Memory Daze is high on our list but they only rent May 1st to Jan.1st. Though those dates should work fine for your time frame. Coral Oasis looks very nice as well.

Plumeria is right next to Coconuts and has a nice covered deck area. Check vrbo to see if they are still renting. House and pool have similar layout to Coconuts. It's a nice place.

thanks, Lakeman! Yes, we looked at that one too, but not one of the photos shows a view of Great Cruz Bay and the boats so I figured the vegetation was in the way of the view. We are heading back to Coral Bay so we can boat watch!! :D

Not sure of your budget but if you are looking in Coral Bay, check out One Particular Harbour. The view is amazing!
