St. John withdrawal

Post by pmk »

Came back late tuesday from a glorious 2 weeks of camping at Cinnamon Bay -- and now I have some serious withdrawal issues. Strangely, it's the small things like waking up and crawling out of our tent to find all sorts of wildlife ("our pets", as we would call them). I'd thought I'd share them here.

Beautiful pics! Thank you so much for taking the time to post. I was never successful in catching a land crab - they are SO quick!

Thanks- your bird pictures (and Identification skills) are magnificent !! I love bananaquits, to the point of obsession, but would like to get better at photographing other birds as well!

Stunning photos! You have a great eye and some terrific skills! The Noddy pic (I've never heard of or seen one) is really, really cool.

You just helped me with my STJ withdrawal by posting those photos. We were campiNg on site 28 from 3/6-3/20. We had hung up a St. Pat's flag on our clothesline. It was our fifth time and we're reserved for next year.
Here's what I did to treat my STJ withdrawal: updated my packing list, emailed some photos tofriends who were there when we were, and went shopping at the Christmas Tree Shop for stuff to wear next year to the St. Pat's parade( the stuff was 75% off!
'Til next year! :D

Terrific! I believe that there was an un-altered DIP sign right in town in Cruz Bay, in January. I couldn't think of anything clever enough to add - but I tried!
