I guess I am Donna, but didn't know if anyone else had heard anything about this or just checking to see if I had been underwater too much the last few days""

Hmm is right Pia...I wonder if this is related to the fact that they are closing on July 27 and not re-opening till October 1?? :? Seems very curious that they are closing so early. I always come to SJ in August and have at least a couple of dinners there, so was deeply disappointed to know that it will be closed when I'm at Gallows this year... :(

I'm so intrigued by this move. The sunsets at Gallows are killer, but the overall views and atmosphere at Caneel are superb. I'm sure it will be great, but I definitely scratched my head when I heard.

Gallows Point restaurant (Zozos) is a 5 star location. It won't be empty for long. Curious who might want to move from downtown to higher end location or possibility for new startup.

I was told that Gallows did not renew the lease.

My guess is La Plancha is going in.

Very interesting news...can't wait to hear who's moving into the space at Gallows. We recently had a couple A+ dinners at the bar at ZoZo's. Sure hope all the changes yield good things.
