I voted. Still a slim margin. I noticed after I voted that one of the other authors is a former neighbor. Glad it's anonymous.

Congratulations to Maryanne! Great book; I love it!
“Cascade” by Maryanne O'Hara has been chosen by Boston Globe readers as the book to read together this summer after the Globe launched an online book club in May.
While the poll is now officially closed, you can use the hashtag #GlobeBookClub to discuss the winning book on Twitter. Readers will now have the summer to read and discuss the chosen book, and online discussions — through Twitter @BGlobeBooks — will take place throughout the summer on Fridays. Stay tuned on this page and on Twitter for the date of the first discussion and other Book Club updates. All the books included in the poll — by local writers — were picked by Boston Globe books editor Nicole Lamy for their potential to spark discussion.

I just saw this! Thank you so much. Haven't visited the forum in a while. We had to cancel a January trip to STJ and it was too painful.
Hope all is well with the forum!
