MARCH TRIP
MARCH TRIP
I am coming to St. John mid March and was wondering if there are any beaches better than the other at that time of year. I have been there in October & May.
One trip in October it was better snorkeling at Haulover North than the south because of storms that had just passed.
Another question, what are some of the best hikes that are not extremely long and ruins to see. Never really looked at many ruins but want to this trip.

Re: MARCH TRIP
check out the forstberg ruins before it's all developed...hardly a hike anymore ...Peace hill(windmill)...Reef bay trail with the parkservice is well worth the fee.
the snorkling always has to to with the wind..windy on the north shore..go explore the south shore....Hope we can make it this year..have fun!

The Catherineberg ruins are fun to explore (no hiking involved) and also the ruins at Cinnamon Bay.
Re: MARCH TRIP
We'll be there in March also. It's quite busy on island in March. For the north shore beaches, sometimes you have to just drive till you find one with a parking space.
