One nite on St John

Post by ihochman »

Anyone know of a B&B or Guest House on St John that will book a 1 nite stay (Friday) during Feb? My villa starts on Saturday and my flight arrives Friday afternoon and I'd rather stay on St John for that one nite instead of St Thomas. Any thoughts??

We use the usual options: Inn at Tamarind Court and St. John Inn. Both are easy walks and have parking.

Rick,
Do you know if the St John Inn will do one nite in Feb? Tamarind Inn has a 3 nite minimum. I wrote St John Inn but so far no reply.

We will be arriving on a Thursday this March. We took advantage of the lower prices on airline tickets, thinking we could book two nights at Tamarind Court and were told of the three night minimum. So we booked our jeep for two more nights and booked two nights at Concordia. I think less the two days of jeep rental we came out about the same. Depending how you feel about hauling out to the east end, it is a great option.

One year about a month before spring break we decided to vacation on St. John. We could not find a villa for the full length of our stay but found one that was a day short. What I did was to look at places in Grand Bay that had a 1-2 day gap between renters and then contacted the owner to see if they would let us stay for one of those nights. Worked out fine for us.

Good luck

February is probably the busiest month on St John and as far as I know no where has a 1 night stay (all have 2 or 3 night minimums) do check as above on spare days between rentals - good luck
