Reef Bay Trail
Can anyone confirm that the guided Reef Bay Trail hikes have not resumed? Anyone know when/if they may start up again?
Re: Reef Bay Trail
Best to call the NPS Visitors' Center - (340)776-6201. They can tell you the plans for your visit.

Please let me know what you hear - I emailed to ask the same question in July and was told that they were hoping to resume in October.

Re: Reef Bay Trail
mrscherry2000, I booked the Reef Bay hike for November, but received an email today stating I've been refunded my money. Looks like the hike was cancelled, no explanation.
I'm getting quite disheartened about this trip - little to no information seems to be available about the things we're hoping to do, and after a handful of trips to St John, this is the first trip where I've been unable to find information and get things booked.

I'll be doing the Ram's Head hike again this trip, was hop for Reef Bay Trail but it'll wait until next time.
Re: Reef Bay Trail
A friend had this scheduled for early December and they canceled on him as well. They called him and told him it was because the contract with the boat that takes you back at the end had fallen through. They told him he could still hike the trail if he wanted to but that he would need to hike back up and there would be no guide. If you are a decent hiker, you could still do it.
