Marriage Officiant
Marriage Officiant
Merry Christmas!
So a friend of mine is going on line and become an ordained minister, so he can do weddings.
If he gets his license in Indiana or Pennsylvania, or wherever, can he marry couples in the VI's? We want him to do ours, and are curious about what extra paperwork might be necessary. Relatively aware that there's a little bit of running around to get everything in order down there, just hoping for the best.
Thanks for your time, and again, Happy Holidays!!!

Wonderful news! I know how much you two love St. John, so no matter who officiates, it will be beautiful.
I'm thinking they might need to be licensed in the Islands but don't know for sure. Please keep us posted.

Friends, they go away then they re-appear...I believe there is Magic here.

Re: Marriage Officiant
My sister got married on St. John in 2016 and a member of the groom's family got ordained in order to perform the ceremony.
He had to go to the court house on STT with the couple to complete the paperwork. Note that you have to be dressed up to go to the court house. My sister had a sleeveless dress and bare arms were not considered to be appropriate. She borrowed a cardigan from someone who just happened to have one.

Let us live so that when we come to die even the undertaker will be sorry.
