Hi, all photos were taken on St. John, I used my new Sea and Sea DX 1G point and shoot with housing. The cuddle fish, which I thought were squid I didn't do anything but put it through photoshop, they were very close to the shore line at Salt Pond Bay. The effect could be from photoshop, but I like it anyway.
The question about the swim mates. They are a ton of fun! Everyone enjoyed using them. The do not make a lot of noice either and hold a charge for an hour, we never had one die on us though. One thing, they way about 30 lbs. when hiking to the beach we called them our babies, because it reminded Mel of carrying his kids when they were little, a lot of work but worth it!
I'm a professional photographer with no experience taking underwater photography, I'm learning as I go. the photos I have seen on this board are just amazing and that motivated me. I spent a lot of time in the water on this trip! Everyone was mad at me for rushing them around to all the beaches so I could take photos. My niece said it was the only vacation where she could lose weight. I wore her out.
Take care,
Sandy

I'd rather be in the boat with a drink on the rocks than in the drink with a boat on the rocks
