Well, my Final Four is still intact. Now, if we can have Kentucky choke just like Kansas...UNI played great (that 3 pt bomb was crazy) but KU looked tight for most of that game.

Also I didn’t pay enuff attention in my bracket to one of my rules of thumb that the Pac 10 is always underrated going in. Look at Washington, and Duke better not look past Cal.

Some of my other rules are that the Big East teams can be overrated (true this year, not last year) and that the Big 10 teams usually disappoint. Hope that’s true today - I’ll be rooting hard for Cornell. Love that motion offense (shades of Pete Carill’s Princeton teams). Wisconsin is only favored by 4.5 points, but if the 3 doesn’t fall early and often for Cornell, they are toast and will get blown out.

Overall, I'm enjoying this tournament more than usual. Didn’t realize how basketball deprived I'd been, what with the epically pathetic local NBA teams.

These brackets are starting to look a little messy. #1 Kansas and #2 Villanova both out. OUCH!

Bad news: last second losses by Maryland and Texas A&M.
Good news: Final Four still intact.
And Cornell winning = good for the spirit of that school, considering the recent rash of suicides up there.

All my brackets finally ended last night when Tennessee beat Ohio State.

GO TENNESSEE!
