Which would you choose?

Post by jdw »

We will be celebrating our 25th anniversary in May. We had decided that we would go to Caneel for the seafood buffet for our celebration dinner but now are considering having Mathayom deliver a meal to our villa. The price is approximately the same but we wouldn't have to stick to a certain time, we could have appetizers and cocktails by the pool and we wouldn't have to drive back to Fish Bay.

Which would you choose??

I vote for Mathayom. Having dinner catered would be such a luxury! :)

Definitely catered at the villa - what a treat! And no driving.

Here's another vote for dinner @ the villa!

I'm going to be the odd man out, but I would vote for going out. The biggest reason is that, for Marcia, half of the fun of going out is getting ready. I know you could still get dressed nicely for the catered dinner at the villa, but it wouldn't seem the same, in my opinion.

We've stayed in Fish Bay many times. I think the drive back is not big deal. And, if you have a bit too much wine with dinner, do what I do...close one eye when driving home. It really seems to help.

Man thats a tough one for the convenience I would go for the delivery. But I've read about the Caneel buffet and it sounds awesome, all that seafood is making me hungry just thinkin about it. If the drive is the only concern I say Caneel. Only problem with Caneel is I would fall asleep when we got home. Oh well would't be the first time, theres always the morning can't think of a better way to start your day  Congrats on 25 we have 2 more to go for our big 25 :D

Dinner at villa with Mat and crew - awesome!! We did it for our anniversary in December and it was the best meal we've ever had, hands down. Tim created a delicious 3 course dinner for us based on our likes and dislikes. Having it cooked and served at the villa so neither of us had to drive was a perfect way to spend our anniversary.

If it's a nice villa.... I'd go with dinner catered at the villa. I mean how many times do you get to do that??

Followed by some creative closeness & clothing optional pool time.

Just sayin.

I have to say I'd rather go out....Pete's right. Half the fun of celebrating is getting dressed up and going out!!!
