Day Trip to Virgin Gorda?
Day Trip to Virgin Gorda?
Has anyone tried taking a day trip from STT to Virgin Gorda? I have checked ferry schedules and it appears all we would get is about 4-5 hours on VG. I am looking for a way to spend a day (10-12 hours?). Any ideas?

We've gone to VG for the day on the ferry from both STT & STJ. We went to the Baths both times and had ample time to relax and explore the entire area including Devil's Bay - which was nothing short of spectacular!
Another way to go which might be up your alley would be to get a power boat excursion with an outfit like New Horizons http://stjohnrentavilla.com/New_Horizons_Charter.htm
or Limnos

There is not too much to see on Virgin Gorda except for the Baths, in my opinion.
Take the Ferry and there will be plenty of taxis. They will drop you off at the Baths and you can ask them to come back at a certain time to make the ferry.
You can hike down and through the rocks to Devil's Bay and enjoy yourself on the beach, then walk back up and grap a bite to eat at Top of the Baths, enjoy the view and swim in the pool. Hop back in the taxi and back to the ferry.
