Maple sugar operations in VT are hosting a state-wide open house this weekend. My brother was visiting from California yesterday, so we decided to head out to the Morse Farm in East Montpelier to watch them boil the sap into liquid amber. I explained that it was our version of going wine tasting in Napa. (work with me on that image!)
He snapped the following photo of small bottles of various grades of Maple Syrup in the window. I thinks it's a reflection of spring in the Northeast.
Enjoy this sweet sight.
Nice picture! That would be fun to taste test the different grades. They're tapping around here too now; nothing beats the real deal There's a local "sugar shack" that taps and also does a pancake breakfast-mmm mmm good!
