Re-entry's a bee-otch!

Post by California Girl »

I'm having a terrible time getting back into the swing of things at home & work since our trip. We've been home for what? 2 weeks? I still haven't been to the grocery store, I haven't unpacked my cosmetics bag (just been pulling stuff out as I need it...eventually it'll be empty - LOL!), and I just can't get into "work mode"... and my job isn't hard!

I guess I just have to go back to the islands!

CG,

I know exactly what you are feeling. I keep looking at my photos that we took and just wishing I was back in STJ. I really should start playing the lottery, I would need a big win to buy a villa on STJ.

Maybe we should have a "forum" pool - $10.00 per person, equal split of the winnings after the villa purchase :)

I feel your pain! We got home on the 11th - I just went to store yesterday.

The lottery sounds great - count me in!

How much would it take for Terri Gibney to let go of one of the beach cottages? That is my ultimate dream home.

Count me in too!! I am going to get my lottery tickets tomorrow!

We have only been home since this past Sat and my husband hasn't even opened his suitcase. I emptied mine. Was po'd.....Security at the airport decided my Kiss of the Jumbie coffee was a threat to the plane and dumped 3/4 of a pound all over in my suitcase. Really irked me since I even had it in a ziploc. Guess it would have been too much to ask to put it back.

I'm happy to know we're all feeling this way. I've been in a funk since I got home and the weather in Pa. is beautiful (so I have no excuse). I still have some stuff in the guest room waiting to be put away.
I think I'm suffering from Post-Departure Depression!!!!!!
I'm creating a new illness. It's legitimate, right??

PDD! Yes, that's what it is!! The only cure costs about $500 round trip! Cheaper than anti-depressants and 100% effective!
