Asolare ?

Post by DonnaC »

Is Asolare still open? My St John guide book is 3 years old and I am not sure if it is still open or good.

Don't know 100% but I am pretty sure it is still open.

Personally, love the view and decor ... was not impressed by the food itself.

we were there last October and it was certainly open and was one of the top 2 meals we had. We really enjoyed it. Our other favorite was LaTapa.

We had our reception there on November 1st and it was our best meal the whole week. There were 19 of us and everyone thought it was incredible.

Yes it is open and we are returning for a second time tomorrow night. It was the best meal for fine dining that we had all week and the balcony seating can not be beat!

John and I had a terrific experience both food and service wise at Asolare last trip. We went there on our first trip and were a little underwhelmed, especially for the price, so skipped it the next two times. Last year, though...I don't know if they got a new chef in the interim or something, but the food was amazing, and the service was top notch. Plus, you can't beat the view!
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

Hi,

Yes, it is still open and still wonderful.

We always have our last dinner at Asolare. The food and service in November were as good as always, but I thought the prices jumped up a tad.

Reserve a table at the rail; go early and enjoy the sunset.
