Earl / Spicecam / Time lapse

Post by mje113 »

I know time lapse videos seem to have been popular here (I was inspired after seeing some on this forum), so starting yesterday I started grabbing 1 minute intervals of the popular cams.

I'm at work so haven't had a chance to get much together, but I figured I'd share one from the Spicecam from today, 5:30am - about 2:20pm. Obviously there's a lot of gaps when (I guess) electricity was off, but I think it gives a much better picture of how bad the conditions are than a still image can:

so I guess Capt. John saved his dingy? It went but too fast for me to see but I didn't recall seeing that boat today. hope that means he got it out of there.

Now that is neat. By the way, about 17 seconds in you can see John recovering his row boat.

WOW! Is not enough! Being from a hurricane area my prayers are with every one. We have rebuilt a dock (350 ft of dock) three times. Not fun!

Wow, that all happened while I was at work! Thanks for putting it all together...man, that little dock got pounded!! No wonder it's not looking so great! :(
