Here are some pictures of the cookies I baked and dobnated to my husband's church sale. Also pictures of the beignets I made Christmas morning. Got a new computer so I can post food porn now too!

Very nice! I like your countertops. :D
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

Thank you! I like them too. We remodeled the kitchen a few years ago so I got to pick them out. The granite was called Cream of Bordeaux - sounds too yummy to pass up for a kitchen.

Beautiful, Lindy!
I DID get to try your dough freezing idea this year, btw. I had plenty of days off to do my baking the "normal" way, but I froze 1/2 batch of dough and baked it a few days later, just to try it. Worked fine, of course.
It'll be a big help if I can remember to make the doughs EARLY next year. Once you're down to the wire, doesn't make any sense to wait to bake.
Thanks again...I appreciate the idea!

Minde - I didn't start early enough myself this year to do the freezing thing either. I'm glad it worked for you though!

I started out by freezing 3 or 4 batches, but those went quickly and I had to make more the "regular" way, but freezing is the only way to go in my opinion!!!
