RIP to a forumite
RIP to a forumite
One of my FB friends, who was also a forum member, has a post on her wall from her sister indicating that she passed away suddenly this weekend.
Carrie Sittnick Moore, who if I'm not mistaken (and PLEASE forgive me if I am) used the moniker aroobagirl on the forum, passed away suddenly at the age of 47.
Thoughts and prayers to her family and friends.
Come see us!

I just heard from Christine. I am very sad. We've been able to meet her and her wonderful family multiple times on island. She's a great Mom and a very fun sunny person. My heart felt condolences go out to her husband and daughters.
I can picture the four of them walking down Honeymoon Beach to meet the forum gang. That's how I'll remember her.

I agree that this is too sad and too soon. I never had the pleasure of meeting her or her family like many of you. I wish I had. She revealed a little about her self in her postings which will give all of us a little insight. She told us that she had a neuromuscular disease that limited what she could do and where she could go. She wanted to visit several STJ beaches that she regarded as too inaccessible. She also posted this message less than two weeks ago.

She was having new health issues and was seeking advice. Although we don't know what ultimately caused the end, we do know that there are many friends here and in the real world who are missing her right now. We also know there is a loving and caring family that is forever changed.
