We have a new sponsor on the site, specializing in rentals of the Westin Villas:

This is a very nice website.

I do admit to being floored by the prices! A 500 sq ft studio rental for $3500 a week? I guess I don't understand the attraction when you can rent a nice size villa w/amenities for much cheaper.

To each their own I guess! 8)

Sarah:

I too thought the pricing "crazy high" especially for a website touting "accommodations such as the Westin Timeshares and Villas for less." $1000+ a night for a 1 bedroom seems a lot even if it were all-inclusive.

Ok, so I'm renting Bayview for 1 week. Just about exactly $2000 for 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, greatroom, pool, 280 degree view and PRIVACY, PRIVACY, PRIVACY!

Peace in Paradise = Two Bedroom $10,500 for 1 week

I don't think so!

Sorry Anthony, you know we like to support your sponsors, but they need to re-visit their prices a bit if they want us to consider staying on their property. At those prices I can do St. John twice !

If the rates posted on their site are correct, I have to think it's going to be pretty quite when it comes to taking reservations. A quick google search returned a number of one bedroom Westin timeshare weekly rentals starting around $1200.

Anthony, I'm sure you checked them out so can you give us any insight on the weekly rates that seem to be out of line with the vacation rental market on St. John?
Thanks,
Bill and Sue

Their rates seem pricey. We've booked airfair and accommodations at Gallows for $2100. We're going in mid October for 8 days.
