I can't wait, we are book for November staying at Villa Madeleine. Wondering what has changed and really enjoying reading the posts out here. Would like to hear more!

You will love the positive changes in STX. As we all know, "island time" is not just an expression, it's a reality on our beautiful islands. Both Christainsted and Fredricksted have had a lot of painting and general clean-up being done. We still are working on damage repairs from Earl & Igor. In the west, the Rain Forest sustained a lot of damage, mostly to the roads, the major work has been done, but there are still more pot holes to fix. Fort Christiansvern has been repainted! In the East, the road to Point Udall is new and amazing along with the road to the Divi Casino. The old Grapetree Bay Resort is being totally redone. Sandy Point National Park is as beautiful as always for our turtle population and Buck Island is PERFECT! The boardwalk is Christiansted did sustain some damage, but the restaurants are great & thriving. There are a couple of new eatery's in the East End & West. Diego Rum has produced their first batch of Capt'n Morgan and of course Cruzan Rum is going strong. The new Home Depot is ahead of schedule and under budget! LIFE is great in St Croix and the people are most friendly and cordial. The snorkeling and diving are just the best and we've had some great whale sightings this winter. The "Roseway" will sail out this summer, but always to return in October. I could go on and on, but I'll leave it to you to discover. Enjoy every moment of your trip back to the BIG island!
