There is a very interesting topic concerning rental cars from STT being restricted from traveling to STJ via barge on the STJ FORUM that will affect any vacationer in STT with a rental car wanting to visit STJ during their trip. Everyone should read it.

This will undoubtedly hurt a lot of St. Thomas businesses and residents.

I have been told that the whole thing will come to an end tomorrow as far as the 'new' law is concerned. I understand that legal council will look into the legality of it all. I also understand that more rental plates or quotas, will become available to STJ, so they can better fend off STT rentals, which I doubt as the prices are better in STT.
