what is the weather like in June? Does it rain a lot? Can we count on lots of sunshine in June?

June is usually a nice month for weather. It often rains for short periods of time but you should still have plenty of sunshine. Since it's still warm when it's raining and I don't mind getting wet, I use those times for shopping.
