a prayer and a miracle needed

I am lucky to have a really super group of individuals who I supervise at work -- they are all super smart and capable --(we do a bunch of data analysis and the like) and really make my days. one of them, i know has been going thru some health issues.... today it came to a head-- she is in her early 60's and was diagnosed with stage 4 inoperable mesothelioma-- we all work int he occ/env med world so .... anyway, this is just devastating. she is a widow (for about 5 years now) with a 9th grade boy that she and her husband adopted from Russia when he was a toddler. She had had a string of other health issues (she had a brain tumor removed 2 years ago) and was really just getting back on her feet emotionally and financially--
if anyone needs your prayers and support it is this woman. she needs a miracle after being stung by so many hardships--my heart is breaking thinking about what she is facing - and sitting in my office with her today talking about what the future holds-- well-- it's just beyond horrible and i cannot image what she is feeling and thinking.
