Been reading a lot of good things on various cooking blogs/pages about Vitamix blenders. Quite pricey, but get great reviews.

Anyone have one (or a Blendtec)? Thoughts?

Can't bring myself to pay the price but that's just me.

I get that, but people that have them say they're so worth it.

Just wanted a few more opinions from anyone that splurged.

We have one and both of us love it. It is worth every penny. We use it all the time for soups, sauces, dressings, pie fillings, green juices, etc. I can't recommend it enough.

If you are looking to save a little money, you can buy a refurbished machine directly from Vitamix with the same exact warranty.

We gave up the juicier and went with the Vitamix. Use it everyday. I think it is worth the money but depends on how long it last's w/daily use.

Mine came yesterday. Made a green smoothie and pureed some squash.

This is gonna be fun

I am late to the party considering your's has arrived but a super frugal friend of mine LOVES her vitamix and considers it worth every penny.
