Beach Bar - Still the same?

Hello all!
Our last trip to STJ was May 2012, and planning to return May 2014.
We were wondering if the Beach Bar is still the same under the new owners. We love having afternoon dinner/drinks and sunset at the Beach Bar, and meeting fellow STJ travelers as well as 'locals'. Also enjoy live music nights. And it's such an easy walk back home to Lavender Hill!

So ... will we still love the Beach Bar?

I think it is still the same but I have found new spots I like better. Joe's Rum Hut, High Tide, and Motu top my list.

Speaking of the Beach Bar...can someone find out what's up with their BarCam? It's been the same picture for a week now! The SunsetCam is working fine, but BarCam is on the blink. Thanks.

It works for me (using IE 10). Hopefully you can get it working ... have you tried resetting your system?

I have to admit I was a little nervous about the new ownership, but they are great. The food is the same, drinks are delish and the view can't be beat. A few of the old bartenders are gone but the new ones are really friendly and know how to do their job. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Will be there in 17 days, but whose counting! Heading back to St John Dec. 7th-15th. Wife just saw on facebook that Inner Visions will be there at 8:30pm on the 7th - can't wait!!! (we missed them last Dec. at High Tide due to a last minute Thurs. evening cancellation).

Please tell me that Sonny is still at the Beach Bar.....she is my favorite bartender of all time!! And if she is no longer there, where is she now working?

Sonny is still atbBB. Boo is at Quit Mon Pub, soon to be at Cruz Bay Landing.
