Sprint for stand-by?
AA changed my flight out of Miami. I had a 45 min layover (which I have successfully done twice with no issue) and now I have a 3 hour layover. I'm really annoyed by this, particularly because they are still selling seats on that earlier flight.
I'm leaning towards rushing to that earlier gate as soon as we land in the hopes of making it on stand-by. We will have no checked bags. Has anyone done this with success?

Re: Sprint for stand-by?
Have you called them and asked what your options are since they are changing your flights? I would try that!

I was also on a flight out of Miami that AA changed. They had put me on a later flight I called them and told them since they had changed my flight I wanted to be on the earlier flight and they changed me with no problem.
