Trying to find a beautiful quiet beach in STTOur family of 6 just arrived in STT 2 days ago . We rented a villa and yesterday ventured off to Cokie beach... Lovely BUT could REALLY do without the hawkers pressing us from the time we arrived until we left. Kinda ruined it for us. Anybody have any suggestions on where to go to avoid that? I heard all beaches are public and if we wanted to could go to the Ritz Carlton. Just can't use beach loungers. Is that true? Has anybody done that?
Re: Trying to find a beautiful quiet beach in STTMy favorite quiet beach is Brewers Bay by the University. Sunday is a big beach day everywhere and not indicative of weekday conditions. Magens Bay to the far left facing the water is also a good quiet beach. Lindqvist Bay [Smith Bay Park] is a beautiful peaceful beach.
You can use any of the hotel beaches and some of them will rent beach lounges .
Re: Trying to find a beautiful quiet beach in STTSmith Bay/Lindquist Beach, just past Pavillions and Pools.
Beautiful, quiet, not crowded. Small fee, but managed by Magen's Bay Authority. Limited facilities but worth it; we picnic there.
Re: Trying to find a beautiful quiet beach in STTI would check out Hull Bay. Never more than 6 people there and you've got a bar/restaurant right there.
Trying to find a beautiful quiet beach in STTCoki is the only beach with loud music and vendors. Well, there may be music at Magens when groups have parties there, but that's usually on the weekends or govt holidays.
Another quiet beach is Emerald Beach. Where are you staying? I Like to KIS (Keep It Simple)
Re: Trying to find a beautiful quiet beach in STTIf your adventurous neltjeberg beach We were the only ones there. Used to be a blue tarp you turned at.......need a jeep...quite an adventure getting down to...
Re: Trying to find a beautiful quiet beach in STTSecret Harbour is another fine choice. Lindbergh Bay as well. Note: There is no beach named Emerald Beach. Please call it by it's correct name, Lindbergh Bay. There is a hotel by that name on Lindbergh, not the beach.
