Where is everyone?

Post by northerngal »

This forum seems pretty slow these days....am I missing something? I love talking to everyone and hearing all the suggestions right before my trip!

Well lets see ... we snorkeled everyday. Some new paces Kiddel and Goutpan (sp).

Ate out at lunch mostly - Love Aqua Bistro and Tourist Trap and Skinny's of course.
New restaurant (where donkey diner) was not opened yet.

Late in the day we lounge at the pool and went to Cruz Bay for happy hour and browsing.

We also look at some homes and hope to be moving down this summer! :D

Have fun on your trip!

aaaah yes, snorkeling, need to get in the warm water so bad.

Looking at houses sounds fun.

I keep telling Tommy if this house purchase in the BVI doesn't work out, I am so renewing my search on St John.

I pop in every day and check new messages. I'll post a TR after our January trip. Not a whole lot of traffic these days. We still get good turnouts for the forumite Halloween week beach day!

We're here too! Just don't post as much as we used to. Guilty as charged! This forum is so valuable and you have reminded me that I need to post more often. We enjoyed the most wonderful trip ever this past Halloween........I'll get some pics together. This forum helped us beyond belief for our first trip in 2004, giving back is a must.

We've been silently living on others experiences, but now at the last minute we have a trip scheduled in January. :D Going down with our son and daughter in law, staying at Mayan Sky for a week. (18-25).
Anybody else there at that time?
Any new restaurants?
Never been in the "high season", any tips on how to cope?
Is sargassum still in area?

This is our 4th trip but see/learn something new each time and we always have a great time. We definitely are "hooked".

scotties,
We will be down there from the 14-21 and have only gone during the high season. We stay on the Coral Bay side and find most beaches not crowded. Salt Pond and of course Trunk get busy but if it's too bad...just move on! There are lots of great places! Enjoy!

I'm here, usually lurking. We're headed to The Rock in June. it's been 8 years since our last visit. I got rt from Houston for $400. I'm quite happy about that.
