No widespread rain yet, although some parts of the island got an inch from 1 or 2 clouds this past week. The driest area is the normally lush north shore, which has received less than one inch for April and May combined. St Thomas, except for the very east end near Red Hook, has had floods this past month.

Wish we could give you some of our rain. Got about 5 inches the past 2 days in MD. Any forecasts showing relief?? We'll be down there on the 20th. Not looking like how I remember it according to NOSJ article. Stinks.

Some pics from News of St John this morning..... I was there one year ago today celebrating our 30th anniversary...... it looked completely different. Hope you all get the much needed rain soon. Will not be back until Dec. 6th 2015 - expecting lush green again!

We just got home on Tues from the BVIs, which are also very brown and dry. We took a boat back to STT, and rode by St John on the way. It was very brown and dry. We came into Crown Point marina, and on the way in, we noticed that area of St Thomas was very green, compared to every place else we had seen. It seems like part of STT has received more rain than other places. We hope rain is coming to STJ and the other islands soon!
