Yes you saw it right.
We were getting out of our car at Jumbie early one morning and another car with a family
pulls in. I am thinking I can't believe someone else is already here. A boy about 15 gets out and want to know how to get to Honeymoon because they bought the day activity pass. I tell him the best way is to go to Caneel and pay for the parking and walk to trail.
He ask " Is that near the women's prison" ? I tell him there is not a prison on St John but give him the directions to Honeymoon.
I guess he thought the fenced in service area before Caneel was a prison.
Hopefully he didn't think the stone entrance to Caneel was the prison. Ha
