Avis & Budget OK for car barge, Hertz not OK?

I just want to confirm that it is still true that Budget & Avis both allow their cars to take the car barge to STJ, and that Hertz does not ... Correct?
Any other advice on the current state of affairs re car rentals and the car barge? I will be on STJ with a party of 6 from January 9 - 23.

I suggest calling them to confirm, its the islands, wouldn't trust what was true before.

I suggest renting from Amalie Car Rental on STT you won't be disappointed & they meet you at the airport.

Also recommend Amalie....Amy has all new jeeps in! Just rented on a week ago with 9 miles on it.....Service is excellent
