Question for Bluwater

Post by FlaGeorge »

Hi Bluwater

Under another post “What do you cook at your villa” – you posted some great dishes. Can you PM me the recipes for your:

Curried Conch
Red Snapper Grilled in Banana Leaves
Chicken Roti
Huevos Rancheros

I love to cook and would love to have these recipes.

Thanks - FlaGeorge

If you enjoy cooking and want recipes from the common folk, this is a great site. You can setup a way of saving your favorites.

A search shows a recipe for chicken roti and curried conch. And again, these are recipes from your friends and neighbors, not necessarily your restaurant sous chef.

I am also sure that blu's recipes are great also

Thanks promoguy for the recipes web site. I looked up the two you mentioned and it looks good. I’ll have to dance around the site to see what I can find – thanks again.

FlaGuy - just saw this! Sorry for the delay in responding.

Will gladly send you the recipes. I have them on my PC in Word files, along with an Excel file shopping list to go with the menu - divided into non-perishable items needed (take in suitcases) and perishables that needed to be purchased on island.

Enjoy!

as long as you are e-mailing, I would love those recipes. We are planning to do alot of villa cooking and those sound wonderful. My mouth was watering as I read your trip reports.

You both have PMs. If you want ALL of the recipes, I can put them into a file and send via email - no problem.

Let us know which ones you try. Some are easy, others are complex. You can read the recipe and easily tell which is which.

Enjoy!!

I am always looking for new recipes! If you do have them in a file, I would love it. Did you ever post the end of your trip report? Maybe I missed it.

Oops, sorry! The above message is from me. The forum looks different this morning for some reason! Anyway, I would love the recipes if you don't mind sharing.
