Pool or hot tub

Post by mbw1024 »

Even though I'm booked in a place I continually look at other villas ;)
Just wondering when looking at different places, some have pool or hot tub but not both. Would this have impact on your choice of villa and if so which would you go for?

I guess depending on time of year you may get more use out of one then the other. Or not ;)

The times we were there we werelucky to have both. I love the hot tub in the morning while I have my coffee and the pool later on for cooling off. I hope I don't have to stay anywhere without both.

I like both. But if I had to choose - I'd go for a pool over the hot tub.

It depends on if you get sunrise or sunset.

A blazing sunset on the deck makes me need to cool off in the pool. We stayed on Gift Hill, had both pool & hottub, but the afternoons were so hot with that sunset that we never used the hottub.

The last place we stayed didn't have the sunset, it had the sunrise, so the nights were quite cool and the hottub was awesome!!!

I'm greedy
I want both too! Will be interesting to see what we use next month. Hot tub in the evening sure sounds good to me!

We were there in May and used the villa's hottub every evening. There's nothing more relaxing (and romantic!) than a glass of wine, in a hottub, under the stars!

We have a hot tub at home so having one on vacation doesn't interest me.
But, I really wanted a place with a pool to cool off in the afternoons.

Both is the best but I'd choose the pool any day. You never come back from the beach covered in sticky salt thinking, "Gee, I wish I could jump into a 99 degree hot tub." But I sure come back wanting to take a quick cool dip in a pool. Plus, if you feel like staying at the villa for a day it's great to cool off in.

POOL hands down. Ever since a travel companion got a weird rash from a hot tub I've been no on the hot tub.

I'd prefer both, but if I can only have one, it'll be a hot tub. The first time I've had both a pool and a hottub was this past May and now I'm afraid I'm spoiled.

Luckily I've never had hottub rash or I'm sure I'd change my mind.

Pool is a must when we have a group. One on the same level as the kitchen with stairs rathern than a ladder.

Hot tub is a bonus, but ranks at the bottom of priorities.

POOL, POOL, POOL!!!

We have a hot tub at home, but would love to stay in a villa with one sometime. For one reason or another it's not happened yet. We're more interested in the overall view, so hot tub is lower on the list! The evenings are cool in December, a hot tub would be soooo nice.

We're staying at One Particular Harbour in December and that pool is heated. This will be a new experience, bet it will be nice that time of year!

We are looking forward to our pool in Dec. Yippee!!

But when we rent a house at the beach here on the mainland we never get a pool...it is all about the beach baby! :)
